Why should I see a Mortgage Broker instead of going to my bank directly?
The mortgage broking industry has traditionally differentiated itself on choice, experience, and convenience. From 1 January 2021, we have been further differentiated by an unrivalled Best Interests Duty. Best Interests Duty means that, as mortgage brokers, we have a legal duty to put your interests first when providing credit assistance, whereas a bank has no legal obligation to do so. In short, we act in your best interests when recommending a home loan whereas a bank sells you their products.
